The HP Pavilion DV9000 is not a gaming laptop per say, but it can be used easily for this purpose. All you have to do is choose your components yourself and not just pick one from the window. It may take some time to arrive, and that's unavoidable really. You're expecting a custom made laptop after all. Below you can find the components that I chose for the HP Pavilion DV9000 and they will give you an unforgetable gaming experience. You can ofcourse take some of those components down, as I made it the perfect HP Pavilion DV9000 laptop. You can go with 1GB RAM instead of 2, you can choose only one HDD instead of the two in raid, you can choose not to select the extra laptop battery if you're not planning to play somewhere in the mountains where there is no electricity, another DVD-RW and so on. The HP Pavilion DV9000 doesn't have to cost $2700, but damn, what a fine gaming laptop it would be with all those.
